Sinnoh Diary

I arrived in Veilstone City Saturday evening, after an eventful trip along Route 210/215 from Solaceon Town. Along the way I encountered many trainers, all eager to battle me and my Pokémon. Of course, I bested them all, earning some valuable experience, and more than a little cash, for my trouble. I even expanded my Pokédex data as well, by capturing some new wild Pokémon, adding a Marill, a Scyther, and a Lickitung to my collection.

It was already after dark by the time I made it to the outskirts of Veilstone City, but the town was a bustle of activity. Many people were out and about, talking and visiting with one another, or on their way to the popular Veilstone Department store. I've heard the Gym Leader here, Maylene, is pretty tough, but I'm not quite ready to challenge her anyway. So I did some shopping myself, stocking up on some necessary supplies. I even found a new app for my Pokétech, a counter application. Not as useful as some other apps, but the price was right.

I think I'll stop by the Pokémon Center before I settle in for the night. Tomorrow I can check out the rest of the city, and maybe stop by the Veilstone City Gym...
